Privacy Policy
How Incasumac collects, uses and protects your personal information. Short version: only what we need, never sold.
Effective and last updated: October 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Incasumac (“Incasumac”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a cleaning business owned and operated by Shawn S. Novotny in Dickinson, North Dakota, collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit incasumac.com (the “Site”), contact us or use our cleaning services.
We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to respond to you and provide the service, and we do not sell your personal information.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details — name, email address, phone number.
- Service details — service address or town, home size, preferred dates, access instructions (such as a lockbox code), pets and notes you choose to share.
- Payment information — when you pay by card, payment is processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
- Communications — messages, emails, texts and call notes.
- Job applications — information you send when applying to work with us.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page and approximate location derived from IP, recorded in standard server logs by our web host.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 4 and our Cookie Policy. Non-essential cookies are only used if you allow them.
2. How we use your information
- To answer questions and prepare quotes.
- To schedule, perform and follow up on cleaning services.
- To send appointment confirmations, reminders and service-related messages.
- To process payments and keep business and tax records.
- To improve our website and services, and to understand how visitors find us.
- To measure the effectiveness of our advertising, if you have consented to advertising cookies.
- To protect our customers, staff and business, and to comply with law.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
3. How we share information
We share personal information only as needed to run our business:
- Our cleaners — the person assigned to your home receives the address, access details and notes needed for the visit.
- Service providers — such as our website host, email provider, scheduling and invoicing tools and payment processor, who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- Advertising and analytics partners — such as Microsoft Advertising, only when you have allowed the relevant cookies (see below).
- Legal reasons — when required by law, or to protect rights, property or safety.
- Business transfer — if the business is sold or reorganized, information may transfer to the new owner subject to this Policy.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising without your consent.
4. Cookies, analytics and Microsoft Advertising
Our Site uses essential cookies and local storage to remember your cookie choices. With your consent, we may use analytics tools and advertising measurement tools.
We may advertise using Microsoft Advertising and use the Microsoft Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag to measure conversions — for example, whether someone who clicked an ad later submitted a quote request. When enabled with your consent, Microsoft may collect or receive information from this Site and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide measurement services and targeted ads. Learn more in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. You can opt out of personalized ads from Microsoft at Microsoft’s ad settings page.
You can change your choices at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Many browsers also let you send a Global Privacy Control or “Do Not Track” signal; we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of advertising cookies.
5. Text messages and calls
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your quote or appointments. We do not send marketing texts without separate consent. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. Message and data rates may apply.
6. How long we keep information
We keep customer records for as long as you use our services and for up to seven years afterward for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Quote requests that don’t become bookings are deleted within 24 months. Access codes are deleted when service ends.
7. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards: the Site is served over HTTPS, access details are stored in restricted records, and only people who need information to do their job can see it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you if required by law.
8. Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and provide a copy;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your information, subject to legal record-keeping obligations;
- stop using your information for marketing or advertising measurement.
Residents of certain U.S. states (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and others) have specific rights under their state privacy laws, including the right to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” and targeted advertising, and the right to appeal our decision. To exercise any right, email admin@incasumac.com or call (701) 426-8475. We will verify your request and respond within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
9. Children’s privacy
Our Site and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-party links
Our Site links to other websites, such as maps and Microsoft’s privacy pages. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies.
