Standard cleaning is our most popular service. It covers the rooms that see the most use — kitchen, bathrooms, living areas and bedrooms — and focuses on the surfaces you touch and see every day.
Because we return on a schedule, each visit builds on the last. Dust doesn’t pile up on the ceiling fan, soap scum never has a chance to set, and the kitchen floor stays the color it’s supposed to be. Most clients choose every other week; busy households with kids or pets often go weekly.
If your home hasn’t had a professional clean in a while, we usually suggest starting with a deep clean. After that, standard visits are quicker and the price stays low.
What’s included
This is the checklist your cleaner works from. Anything not listed can usually be added — just ask.
Kitchen
- Counters, backsplash and sink scrubbed
- Stovetop and range hood exterior degreased
- Fronts of appliances, microwave inside and out
- Table and chairs wiped, floor vacuumed and mopped

- Toilet cleaned and sanitized inside and out

- Mirrors, vanity and fixtures polished
- Floors washed, towels straightened
Bedrooms & living areas
- Reachable surfaces dusted, including lamps and frames
- Beds made (linen change available)
- Carpets vacuumed, hard floors mopped
- Mirrors and glass tables cleaned

- Light switches and door handles wiped
- Trash emptied and liners replaced
- Cobwebs removed from corners

Common questions
How long does a standard clean take?
About 2–3 hours for a typical 2–3 bedroom home with one cleaner. Larger homes may get two cleaners for a shorter visit.
Can I skip a visit?
Of course. Give us 24 hours’ notice and we’ll skip or move it. Your recurring discount stays in place.
Do you do dishes or laundry?
We can load the dishwasher and do one load of laundry as an add-on. Hand-washing large stacks of dishes isn’t included.
